In this line of work, our lab’s output spans a number of different topics starting with the development of middleware platforms for integrating disparate building automation system components (e.g., Sensor Andrew, Mortar.io), to metadata schemas (e.g, Brick), and tools such as automated software verification for HVAC control logic and metadata inference techniques.

My research interests vary, but generally gravitate towards the development of technologies to make our built enviornment and the communities in them more autonomous and efficient. Lately I am interested in developing responsible autonomous solutions for infrastructure systems.
