Jil Patel is a PhD student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University and a member of the INFER lab. His research interests span controls, continuum mechanics, and solid mechanics. Prior to CMU, he earned an MTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT).
